Maybe the coolest engine Toyota has ever made! These were made for the 2nd generation Toyota Century limousine in the Japanese market. It's a massive V12 rated at 276 hp ( in the Japanese gentleman's agreement ) and comes with a 4spd automatic and 2 ECUs, one for each bank of 6 cylinders. You can install it as is or find a manual transmission to mount behind it and have a very unique engine in your vehicle!

Foreign Engines has been in business since 1982. We opened as a small local Japanese
engine and transmission importer in Seattle Washington. By providing high quality products
and the best warranty available we've grown to have two locations, one in Washington state, and
one in Idaho. Repeat business is what we've built our reputation on so every customer is

What's the deal with Japanese import engines?
"JDM" stands for Japanese Domestic Market. These engines were used in Japan before they
were exported to the U.S. The average Japanese driver drives their car 50,000 miles before
turning their vehicle in.

Why only 50,000 miles?
Each car must pass the "Shaken" test. The first test is administered for passenger vehicles
at year 3 and every 2 years after. The car must pass on many different levels : exterior,
speedometer, headlights, exhaust and emissions, suspension and interior. Anything not
meeting the required standard must be repaired. When the cost of repairs outweighs the
value of the car it is exported or recycled. Foreign Engines imports the recycled engines.
